April 22nd is Earth Day - when we put our beautiful planet in the spotlight. Celebrate this day with us by planting a tree for the Earth!
International Earth Day is all about sustainability. Each year on April 22nd, people and organisations all around the world take part in Earth Day activities to protect the planet and fight climate change.
Would you like to make your own positive contribution on Earth Day? Celebrate this day with us by planting a tree for the Earth!
The world needs more forests. Trees give us oxygen, clean air and water. But also food, protection and cooling. Forests are also important for biodiversity: they are the habitat of countless plants and animals. Moreover, trees play an important role in fighting climate change.
We plant half of the trees in the Netherlands and the other half abroad.
Choose in which two of our sustainable reforestation projects the trees will be planted.
As proof you will receive the special Earth Day certificate with your name on it! You will receive this by e-mail. Sustainable, right?
Show the world that you’re committed to Earth Day and inspire others to join in too! Share your personal certificate via social media and don’t forget to tag Trees for All.
Plant a treeSupporting Earth Day is a great way to make impact with your company. Plant trees for Earth Day and receive a certificate with your company name on it.
Plant trees with your businessThanks to your donation, we can plant trees in sustainable forest projects. Which projects they are is up to you. Through our Track & Trees e-mails, we keep you informed about your chosen project.
Your contribution goes further than just planting a tree. Our projects have a wide impact and help create a better climate, more biodiversity and healthier living conditions.
In countries like Ghana, Costa Rica and Vietnam, we are restoring native forests in cooperation with the local population. This local involvement is an important condition for being able to plant and maintain trees in a sustainable way. We train people in sustainable land use and create job opportunities. This makes the forest valuable to everyone concerned.
Read more about our projectsThe first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970. It has become an annual event that strives for positive change on a global scale. Earth Day aims to raise awareness of environmental challenges, such as climate change, deforestation, (over)consumption and air pollution. Around the world, people organise activities for the good and protection of the planet.
This year’s theme is ‘Invest in our Earth’, focusing on the effects of climate change on our planet. The Earth Day organisation states: “Earth Day 2022 is focused on accelerating solutions to combat our greatest threat, climate change, and to activate everyone – governments, citizens, and businesses – to do their part. Everyone accounted for, and everyone accountable.”
We too believe that everyone has a part to play – or rather a tree to plant! This year, you can help us in our mission to create more forests all over the world!
