On 22 April, we’ll be sending out an Earth-Alert. It’s a wake-up call because the Earth needs us NOW more than ever. Tree by tree, we can restore our earth.
And we really need your help with this! Organise a fun campaign around Earth Day and link it to a donation target. After your donation, you’ll receive a certificate and a communication toolkit. This will allow you to show your customers and stakeholders that your organisation is also contributing to a sustainable future. Of course, you can also simply donate without organising an event.

There are many ways to take part in Earth Day. First, mark Tuesday 22 April in your calendar. Plan some fun (outdoor) activities with your colleagues — for example, during your lunch break. Link the activity to a donation to plant trees.
Here are some easy ways to take action:
🎯 Turn achievements into trees. Plant a tree for every milestone reached, such as each new sale or customer your team brings in on Earth Day. Or donate a tree for every set number of new followers on social media.
🎽 Organise a sports activity on or around Earth Day. How about a walk through the forest or a nearby park? Or set up a sponsored run to raise funds for extra trees!
🍴 Surprise colleagues with a vegan snack, lunch or picnic. Delicious and more sustainable.
🚶 Pick up litter during your lunch walk. How about donating a tree for every full rubbish bag?
🌱 Donate some trees without action! Because even if you have little time, you can simply participate in Earth Day. For example, donate one tree per employee or per year of your organisation’s existence.

Earth Day itself has solid roots: the day has been celebrated annually on 22 April since 1970. On this day, people and organisations around the world take action for environmental protection and sustainability. In doing so, they highlight the climate crisis in a positive way and do something good for the planet.
According to Earthday.org , the organisation behind Earth Day, you should always keep believing that you can make a difference. “Don’t underestimate your own power. When your voice and your actions are united with thousands or millions of others around the world, we create a movement that is inclusive, impactful and impossible to ignore.”
