New forest in Haarlemmermeer

In 2015 Trees for All planted 5.000 trees in Park 21, Haarlemmermeer.

Forests contribute to CO2 sequestration, increase biodiversity and create valuable possibilities in terms of recreation. For these reasons it is important to increase the amount of forest in the Netherlands. Therefore Trees for All planted 1 hectare of new forest in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. By planting a variety of different species this plot is ecological valuable and robust. With a total surface of 1.000 hectares, Park 21 has become the green and and recreative heart of the Haarlemmermeerpolder. You can find more information about Park 21 here.
