Trees for All raises funds for sustainable reforestation projects in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin-America. Our projects can be realized thanks to the donations made to Trees for All by private and business donors. We select our forest projects based on a set of criteria, as outlined in this document, with a focus on stakeholder inclusion, sustainable forest development, biodiversity, and social impact.
All projects are subject to extensive evaluation prior to approval. If a project is approved by our Board, we proceed to signing a cooperation agreement with the project proponent, that outlines the basic terms of our collaboration. We welcome long-term partnerships because we believe sustainable project outcomes are achieved through lasting relations. In other words, we’re not just about planting trees. We want to create and protect future-proof forests. Together.
To help you with your project application, we developed a list of criteria that our projects should meet. We will use these criteria to assess whether a project has the right fit with our organization’s vision and mission. Note that, even if your project meets all the criteria, Trees for All does not guarantee funding of your project. The decision to fund a project is at full discretion of Trees for All and depends on several factors, such as the availability of funds, diversity of our project portfolio, and viability of the project.
If you believe that your project meets our criteria, you can submit your project application by using our International Project Application Form. The form will guide you in your project application and outline the information we need to assess your project. We evaluate projects based on the Theory of Change, which is included in the Application Form.
We are not a donor-based organization, we do not manage funds. For the pre-financing of our projects, we assess the financial feasibility based on donations forecasts, on a project by project basis.
